Paella originated in Valencia , where peasant men and women working in rice field looked to the Mediterranean Sea and the fertile lands for other ingredient to mix with the rice. Thus paella was born, cooked in large shallow pan.

An excellent choice for outdoor cooking, the paella is cooked with rice, vegetables i.e. butter beans, peas, green beans, peppers, onions with a preference of chicken, seafood, rabbit or mixture of all and so on by using Spanish spices like saffron, sweet or smoked paprika. Paellas will differ from region to region in Spain .
